Beauty Of Contentment

I have recently started writing metaphorical poems. This is one of them which I love a lot.

Grapevine asked lotus” Why do humans consider you an auspicious flower” 

“You also don’t need any place where you have to bower”

“I grow in the muddy water, that is the reason,” lotus said,

“To grow with other flowers I don’t need a flower bed”

Grapevine said,” How do you manage to grow at such a dirty place”

“How do you survive at a place where’s there is no solace”

Lotus said,” Neitherless of the area, I concentrate on embracing my beauty”

“I try to remain beautiful so that I can feel beautiful and not be snooty”

Grapevine said” How are you happy all the time”

“There are so many things about which you can complain rather than being mime”

Lotus said” Despite the circumstances, I am happy of the fact I will grow into the most beautiful flower one day”

“I have learnt to embrace myself rather than mourning about my situation because I will end up here only one way or another”

Grapevine said” You last only three days after you bloom why do you bother taking so much pain from the surrounding but still blooming”

“The mud is doing nothing but you it is consuming”

Lotus said “ My surrounding tries to consume me I have to beat them by turning out beautiful”

“ I have to prove myself in front of the mud showing it undutiful”

Grapevine said “ I have got my answer why so much auspicious you are considered”

“Why over all the flowers most beautiful you are preferred”

How do you think the lotus grows from the muddy water? Lotus is often taken as the most beautiful flower but other than it’s beauty we have never thought how does it manages to grow in such muddy water. All other flowers grow in land surrounded by grass and getting all the the things needed for a plant to grow but why was God bias by creating lotus in such gnarly location. But now when I think we can say that the most beautiful flower grows in the most adverse situations, In the same way we humans do not always have things easily. We have to work hard to achieve something. The obstacles of life are like the muddy water and what we have to do is overcome it just like a lotus. Life is hard but if we stand still and face all the difficult situations, we will be grow as beautiful as a lotus.
